Job Description
Marsh Recruitment Ltd is hiring reliable Cleaners to maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness across our sites, which may include offices, medical centres, schools, or industrial facilities. You will work independently or as part of a small team, following health and safety procedures to create a safe and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, or patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting all designated areas
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, kitchens, and break rooms
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste (including clinical or hazardous waste if trained)
- Replenishing consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet roll)
- Deep cleaning surfaces, windows, and high-touch points (door handles, light switches)
- Operating cleaning equipment (e.g., buffer, scrubber dryer) after training
- Reporting any maintenance or safety hazards immediately
Skill & Experience
- Essential: Good attention to detail; ability to follow COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines; physically fit for standing, bending, and lifting; reliable and punctual.
- Desirable: Previous cleaning experience (commercial or healthcare); knowledge of colour-coded cleaning systems; a valid DBS check (for school/hospital roles); own transport for early/late shifts.
