Care Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to support individuals with their daily living needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for service users by promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with meal preparation and feeding where required
- Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns
- Assist with mobility and safe moving and handling
Skill & Experience
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of safeguarding and health & safety practices
